Our staff modeled the multiple channel, bi-static, interferometric and mono-pulse signal processing of different surveillance and tactical radar systems, across multiple services.
ICE engineers model interferometric radar systems to determine the probability of correctly resolving interferometric angle ambiguities and the overall level of system calibration required. Our team took the lead on integrating multiple disparate models of interferometric radar sub-systems into a unified model of the radar including the sensor, scheduler, tracker and detection processing functions.
By designing the model for multiple objects and complex radar signatures, we can provide the government assessments of the radar’s ability to support precision engagements of threats and have verified the model versus radar test data. In doing so, our staff has developed and evaluated radar system requirements, system interfaces and provided technical review of design documents. We also provide engineering oversight of the software and firmware development and the RF sub-systems.
